Every day the participants depart from the Grote Kerk in Alkmaar. There are five different distances: 10, 15, 20, 25 and 40 kilometers.
You can still participate on the closing day
New this year is ‘The Fourth of 4‘. “You will only participate on Saturday on the festive final day and choose the distance you walk,” says Jeroen Wouda of Le Champion. You can register for this until Thursday evening.
The organization could not complain with the weather on the first day. “It has been changeable the past few days, but so far we have only had sun,” says Jeroen.
