Second-hand platform Sellpy launches upcycling collection

The Swedish online marketplace operator Sellpy is releasing an upcycling collection in collaboration with three artists.

The secondhand platform’s upcycled shop offers a limited collection consisting of tops, dresses, jeans and skirts, Sellpy said in a statement on Thursday.

The unique pieces on offer were created by the artists Julia Dang, Johanna Burai and Yoyo Nasty from previously worn clothing and curated by the second-hand provider.

“We hope this initiative encourages people to see the great potential of the resources that have already been produced and the limitless creativity that can arise from reuse,” said Sellpy creative director Philip Arvidson in the statement.

The Sellpy Upcycling Shop will be online from November 2nd.
