The delivery of a second-hand garden shed on Monday evening to Wolvendonk in Raamsdonksveer was slightly different than expected. When the house was hoisted up with a crane, it stopped working and the house was left dangling in the air. Three fire engines arrived on the scene to get it back on the ground safely.

Due to a technical problem, the crane lost power and suddenly stopped working. As a result, the garden shed got stuck halfway through the lifting operation.

Because the house could no longer be brought down safely, the fire brigade was called. Three fire engines arrived on the scene to assist.

It took at least an hour before the emergency services were able to get the house down to the ground in a controlled manner.

Sale from 150 euros
The owner had sold the garden shed for 150 euros, with the agreement that he would deliver it himself. The delivery ultimately turned out to be a lot more complicated than initially anticipated.

It is not clear whether the house is still usable.
