Second gold: Forster dominates slalom at will

Yanqing (AP) – Anna-Lena Forster impressively won the second gold medal at the Paralympics in Beijing.

The 26-year-old monoskier finished the slalom in the seated class ahead of Wenjing Zhang and Liu Sitong from China and then cried out her joy in a loud voice. Forster previously won gold in the super combined and two silvers in the downhill and super-G at the Paralympics in China. In the giant slalom she was fourth.

Already after the first round, the athlete from Radolfzell confidently led the competition. She dominated the second run as well and deservedly celebrated her fourth Paralympic victory with a lead of 2.32 seconds.
