The NHL returns to Finland after a break of a couple of years.
The Carolina Hurricanes and the Seattle Kraken will face each other in the Global Series in November. The matches will be played at the Veikkaus Arena in Helsinki.
Carolina’s Sebastian Aho plans to invite a large group of family members and friends to enjoy NHL entertainment.
– I still don’t know how many friends I will invite. I guess I have to do some calculations. There will be a lot of them, the center forward told Iltalehti in Montreal.
The first of the matches will be played on Thursday, November 11, starting at 7 p.m., and the second on Saturday, November 14, when the puck drops on the ice at 8 p.m.
Lots of Finns
Sebastian Aho will be seen in the fall in Finland in an official NHL game. PDO
Finns Aho and Jesperi Kotkaniemi are currently playing in the Hurricanes.
Kraken’s standard lineup includes Kaapo Kakko and Eeli Tolvanen. In addition to them, forward Jani Nyman, defender Ville Ottavainen and goalkeeper Niklas Kokko have been on the NHL team’s journey.
