A special underwater search team has been deployed, a police spokesman said.

Another camping guest would have gone swimming with De Zeeuw on Tuesday afternoon. When the man did not return to the campsite, this runner sounded the alarm. A bag with the swimmer’s belongings was found on the edge of Bison Bay on Tuesday evening.
Neither the spokesperson for the Gelderland police nor the spokesperson for the Four Days Marches can confirm that it is a possible participant of the walking tour.
