In the World Cup European Qualification Group C match, Scotland beat Belarus 2-1 at home.
Scotland started the match quickly and took the lead 1-0 in the 15th minute with the goal scored by Che Adams, assisted by Hendry.
The guest team brought the score to 1-1 with Melnichenko’s goal in the 56th minute. However, Scotland regained the upper hand. In the 84th minute, McTominay scored a cross from Robertson and made the score 2-0.
Belarus, 90+6. Kuchko’s goal in the minute reduced the difference to one, but this goal was not enough to change the result. The match ended with Scotland leading 2-1.
Following this result, Scotland increased its score to 10 and maintained its leadership. Belarus, on the other hand, could not score any points in its 4th match and remained in the last place in the group.
