A scooter rider was injured in an accident at Gasselte tonight. The scooter collided with a tree on Houtvester Jansenweg near Gasselterveld.
How that could have happened is unknown. Several ambulances and the trauma helicopter came to the scene of the accident. The helicopter had to search for a place to land, the accident took place in the wooded area near the recreational lake.
The accident happened just before 9 p.m. The victim was treated in the verge along the road and was then taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
