An eighteen-year-old scooter rider died on Friday evening as a result of a collision in Apeldoorn. The accident took place on Laan van Orden around 9.45 pm. The victim’s scooter collided head-on with a car.
A police car and two ambulances arrived on the scene. Later, the help of an air ambulance was also called in. That was to no avail for the eighteen-year-old man: he died of his injuries.
The driver involved in the accident was released unharmed. Her car and the scooter suffered significant damage, reports The Stentor.
Police are investigating how the accident could have happened.
