A scooter driver was hit this afternoon on the roundabout of Stationsweg and Schipborgerweg in Zuidlaren. According to a bystander, the victim collided with a company car.
The mobility scooter driver did not escape unscathed and was taken to hospital by ambulance after an initial check. It is not known how serious the injuries are. The motorist was unharmed.
Police are investigating how the accident happened.
