German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said after talks with Vladimir Putin that there are “enough starting points” for a positive development of the situation around Ukraine, Die Welt reports. He promised to do everything “to use these starting points and make peace in Europe possible.” The talks with Putin, he said, were “very confidential.”
