Not only since Flake’s funny, enlightening (band) biography “Today has the world’s birthday” did we know that Rammstein are hard workers of rock music and their energetic stage shows are not just random products.

Anyone who invests so much blood, sweat and fire also needs some time to relax in order to prepare for the live power.

The German photographer Jens Koch accompanied the band for a few concerts during their tour and took numerous snapshots and portraits that show Till Lindemann and Co. in an intimate setting and as a sworn unit. This resulted in wonderful motifs that we don’t want to withhold from you. Something like Rammstein drinking courage before a concert. Or in costume and waddling through the catacombs to the stage.

From the series of photos we now also know that the musicians spend quite a lot of time on the manicure. And in the luxury hotel, I like to walk around in my socks.

Koch also took the photos for the big Rammstein interview in ROLLING STONE and has been accompanying the band with his photos for a long time.
