There is no way around the Personnel Malick Thiaw from AC Milan. First the 23 -year -old central defender was traded as a possible successor to Jonathan Tah near Bayer Leverkusen, then a transfer within Serie A to Como 1907 burst at the beginning of July because the player was said to have decided against the step despite an agreement. The “Sport Bild” reported on Wednesday that Thiaw was again a topic at Werkelf, which the “kicker” in turn denied. Now, under certain conditions, the central defender could move to Newcastle United.
“La Gazzetta Dello Sport” and “Sky”, the Magpies offered 30 million euros for Thiaw’s services. According to the Italian sheet and Fabrizio Romano, this offer is not enough to move Milan to a sale. Background: Trainer Massimiliano Allegri estimate the qualities of the three -time German international, who knew how to convince in the preparation. Only one offer very well above the market value of Thiaw could move the Rossoneri to rethink, it is said. Things seem to be regulated between the player and Newcastle. “Sky” reports a complete agreement between the Premier League Association and Thiaw on the modalities of a four-year contract.
After several devaluations, the native of Düsseldorf is currently estimated at 18 million euros – at the end of 2023 it was still 30 million euros. Thiaw’s contract in Milan is dated to 2027. The 19-time Italian champion had brought him from Schalke 04 for just over 9 million euros, since then Thiaw has been used 85 times. If he changes, the royal blue would collect ten percent of the transfer plus.
In the final phase of last season, Thiaw had lost his regular place in central defense and mostly followed the games from the bank. If Milan were given to him for a sum of 30 million euros, he would sort out in seventh place in the ranking of the most expensive departures. In the current transfer period, Milan has taken around 109 million euros through player sales, the opposite of 76 million euros in spending on the obligations of Ardon Jashari, Samuele Ricci and Pervis Estupiñán. The Newcastle, who was interested in Thiaw, has invested at least 30 million euros in a new addition in its club history.
