Leo Greiml has extended his contract at NAC Breda prematurely and thus received the reward for strong services in the eredivisia. The 23 -year -old central defender came from Schalke 04 in summer, where he had little prospect of playing time. Nevertheless, the royal blue can still benefit from the good development.
Greiml signed a new working paper in Breda on Monday. There he stood in almost all competitive games in the starting eleven at the tenth of the table this season, only missed two games. The Austrian increased its market value to 900,000 euros, at Schalke it had dropped from 2.5 million to 400,000 euros in two years.
“At NAC, we try to sign players who not only fit in football, but also in character. Leo makes a strong development in both points, ”praised sports director Peter Maas. Greiml himself emphasized in the course of the extension that he “hopes to have every success in the coming season, but at the moment it is all about relegation”.
