According to Widzew Lodz, Schalke initially does not receive a transfer, according to media reports, only performance -oriented payments could follow if BA, for example, completes a certain number of games. However, the royal blue save the six -digit annual salary of the attacker’s originally bound until 2028.
Schalke only won BA last January for 300,000 euros from the French second division club Grenoble Foot 38. The striker was used 13 times in the second half of the season and contributed two goals and templates. Its market value climbed from one million to 1.5 million euros. But BA was sorted out by new trainer Miron Muslic.
“Pape knew that he was difficult for us this season to come to the season he hoped for. After very open discussions about his perspective, we searched for a solution together and now found them. For his further path, we wish Pape all the best privately and sporty and thank him for his time on Schalke,” said Director Professional Football Youri Mulder.
