FC Schalke 04 celebrated its season opening on Saturday. One thing is certain: the S04 fans are already ready for the first division before the start of the 2nd Bundesliga.

The Schalkefans proudly brought their scarves back out of the closet. Summer break ended. Everyone here at the family festival at the Veltins Arena are happy that it finally starts again. Even if it is not really clear what is in the team.
I think it won’t be enough for the climb. But I mean, it doesn’t matter in the end. I hope that there is simply a stability now and that we will then manage to play in midfield.
I don’t have the hope that we really get up. But yes.
I say so if we can at least build a little bit with the new coach again, then I am in good spirits that we end up in the upper third.
The new trainer Miron Musulic was last active in the second division in England. In the Bundesliga, the Austrian has to prove himself. Schalke loses the dress rehearsal against FC Sevilla with two to four. Musulic is still enthusiastic about the opening of the season.
Very, very emotional. I was incredibly taken with how massive S04 is, how passionate the fans are, is also lucky that my first game is there today in the Veltins Arena. And my family has been here in Gelsenkirchen since yesterday. A wonderful day.
Against Seville, however, it was not yet going against Hertha on the defensive. The fans should see a better team on Friday. Schalke wants to dust off the first three seasonal points with a home win.
