“After almost three years of intensive work, we have managed to lay a more stable financial foundation from which we can now take the next steps,” she said. In order to generate the targeted profit, the club does not have to sell any players. The expected profit should be in the single-digit to low double-digit million range. Schalke is currently in 17th place in the table.
A trend reversal is imminent: The #S04 expects a league-independent return to profitability from 2023.
