Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt meets Levski Sofia in the playoffs for the Conference League.
The traditional Bulgarian club prevailed in the third qualifying round against Israeli runners-up Hapoel Beerscheva thanks to a 2-1 (1-0) win in the second leg. The first leg a week ago had ended goalless.
The Brazilian Ronaldo (90th minute +6) scored the winning goal in added time. His compatriot Welton Felipe (15th) scored the lead for Levski, Yoan Stoyanov (79th) equalized for the guests in the meantime.
In the playoffs, Frankfurt will first play away from home next Thursday. The second leg at home at Deutsche Bank Park will take place on August 31 (8:30 p.m. / RTL). The winner of the duel qualifies for the group stage of the third most important European Cup competition.
