Many people may think that a sauna with this weather is crazy. Yet Richard says laughing that it is a good idea “The alternation between heat and cold ensures that your body learns to deal well with extreme temperatures. You build up resistance, as long as you tackle it in the right way.”

Water, water, water

Richard’s most important advice: drink a lot of water. “You perspire more than you think. That must be supplemented.”

And what about ice creams? “None,” says Richard Resolute, “I love ice cream, but here I just try to drink as much water as possible.”

Listen to your body

To cool down after the sauna, he dives into an ice cold dipping pool. For those who do not have a dipping pool, he comes with an original tip. “You can freeze a bottle of water and then put that ice -cold bottle for the fan, which ensures cool air in the room.”

Cold washcloths can also help to keep your head cool. Finally, he recommends looking up the shade during the day, taking it easy, and listening carefully to your body.
