The French Court of Cassation has rejected the cassation appeal of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. This makes his sentence of three years in prison, of which one year effective, for corruption and influence peddling in an eavesdropping affair final. Sarkozy is now going to the European Court of Human Rights.
