Sanna used hard drugs for years. He says he used so much that he has used so much that his nose was completely destroyed.
– Then I was really skinny. That was the biggest reason I used. I had terrible appearance pressures. My boyfriend admired the lean.
For the purchase of drugs, Sanna did a lot of things that would have been missed without a substance abuse problem.
– The dance group leader said that if I don’t want to work a stripper, there is another way to get money easily. He introduced me to one man.
Sanna, anxious about the situation, met the man by boat.
– There I had sex. I had to do things I wouldn’t have wanted to do. They produce a lot of shame and anxiety. It took 14 years. I did it in the face of compulsion. If I hadn’t been drug addicted, I would never have done it.
Rissanen has interviewed Sanna and her fate Elisa Nursing home in Tuhkimo. It provides 24-hour institutional rehabilitation for women of different ages.
