FC Bayern has to prepare for a transfer -free farewell to Leroy Sané. The Munich people have been looking for a new winger for a long time and obviously receive positive signals.
As “Sky” reports, Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao informed FC Bayern “that he can very well imagine moving to Munich”.
The 22-year-old has been associated with the Bundesliga club for weeks. “Sky” and “Sport Bild” want to have learned from a meeting with the player side.
At Athletic Bilbao, Williams still has a contract until 2027. The trained left wing is said to have an exit clause in his working paper and would therefore cost around 60 to 65 million euros.
Williams demands “around 20 million euros gross” in salary, writes “Sky”. According to the TV station, there should still be no agreement between FC Bayern and the Spanish international. The German record champion would work on a deal, according to the tenor.
FC Bayern and Athletic Bilbao in Williams-Tahl?
“Estadio Deportivo” recently reported that Athletic Bilbao was leaving a possible contract extension with its own plant.
Internationally, Williams made a name for himself internationally with his strong achievements at the 2024 European Football Championship. The speed dribbler had a large part in the triumph of Spain. In the final against England (2-1), Williams scored the lead goal for 1-0.

Leroy Sané, on the other hand, is drawn from Munich to Galatasaray. The bad news for FC Bayern: Since the contract of the German national player expires at the end of the month, no transfer fee is due.
