“The new stadium represents a need for Inter and Milan: we hope in an opening of the Milanese political class”. Beppe Marotta, president and CEO of Inter, expressed himself, to Dazn’s microphones in the pre-match of Cagliari-Inter regarding the stadium issue. “We expect – continues Marotta – to be able to build the new stadium within the Municipality of Milan. If this is not the case, we will have to turn elsewhere. It is right that the new stage is within the Municipality of Milan, but if it were not so we must fill this gap compared to European competitors. The hope is that a step forward is taken”.
