Attacker Samya Hassani has secured a nice transfer. Hassani immediately leaves Telstar for Turkish side Fenerbahçe. The Turkish clubs pay a transfer fee to Telstar.
The 24-year-old player came over from Belgian KAA Gent in 2022. In total she played 32 official matches for Telstar. The Amsterdam international is also a member of the Moroccan national team.
“To lose a player in the middle of the season is of course a great loss. However, we are very proud that our policy to develop players is paying off, and that within two years of returning to the Women’s Eredivisie a player can move to a top foreign club. We wish Samya every success in this next step in her development,” says technical manager Hans de Winter.
The Telstar Women will be back in action on Sunday. Then they play at home against SC Heerenveen.
