It took six years – now Sampha is back. The South London singer, songwriter and producer shares his new single ‘Spirit 2.0’ – the first preview of his second album.
The 34-year-old musician has made a name for himself over the past decade through his collaborations with Drake, Kanye West, Jessie Ware and Solange.
He has also been cited as a musical influence and role model by numerous artists including Kendrick Lamar, Stormzy, Frank Ocean and Alicia Keys. His releases to date include the critically acclaimed EPs SUNDANZA (2010), 2013’s DUAL and 2017’s Mercury Music Prize-winning debut album PROCESS.

In addition to his musical work, the artist, whose full name is Sampha Lahai Sisay, has also worked with fashion designer Grace Wales Bonner and filmmaker Khalil Joseph, among others.
