Sami Pajari wants to quickly achieve more podium places. PDO
For Sami Pajar sounds good.
The World Rally Championship in Japan ended with the first podium finish of his career in the Rally1 class.
Right after that, there was confirmation of the Lahti native’s continuation in the Toyota factory team.
Now Pajari can only enjoy the last World Cup rally of the season.
– That gives you the confidence you need in this sport. And experience too, Pajari said.
The young man himself would certainly have wished to have reached the podium much earlier. The opening year in Toyota’s representative team has not been easy.
Maybe that’s why Japan’s triple farm is still smiling even in Jeddah.
– You could temporarily get some kind of satisfaction from it. But pretty quickly we go to the next games, and there are new goals.
– Of course it shows that we are going in the right direction. It always tastes good.
Pajar’s teammates in Saudi Arabia Elfyn Evans, Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä fighting for the world championship.
Pajari competes by Adrien Fourmaux with from the seventh state of the series. The Frenchman is now a measly two points ahead.
After that, preparations for the rally year 2026 will begin.
– Yes, there is still enough work to do. The intention is to get more podiums and even higher places, Pajari said.
– We are going into next year with a decidedly bolder attitude.
