One thing is certain: they have no nose for audience favorites at SBS 6. The channel has combined two artists discredited by juice channels, Danny de Munk and Samantha Steenwijk, with one of the least beloved presenters in the country: Jeroen van der Boom. Together they shine, with René Froger, in De Hollandse Nieuwe.

‘Paste plasters!’

De Hollandse Nieuwe is a talent show on location, but the viewer is not very enthusiastic about it. The first episode started on SBS 6 yesterday, on Saturday evening, with only 380 thousand viewers (9% market share).

Tina Nijkamp, former channel boss of SBS 6, is now starting to feel quite sorry for the top of the channel. The day before yesterday, the channel still set horror figures with Richard Groenendijk. “Ow! Talpa and John de Mol also have to stick plasters on Whitsun Monday”, analyzes the viewing figures expert.

Another big flop

So SBS 6 has another flop in hand. Is De Hollandse Nieuwe perhaps successful in the commercial target group? “Even in target group 20 to 54 years, only 9.5 percent market share. After 1000 Stars Rays, the second show with home auditions that failed to score. That show with Frans Bauer also did not score, except for the final.”

Prior to De Hollandse Nieuwe, the TV version of The Hunting Season attracted 469 thousand viewers (13%). That SBS 6 program did end up in the top 15 viewership.

Just Until Here at #1

NPO 1 took gold on prime time thanks to Even Tot Hier, which attracted 1.5 million viewers (35%). Immediately before, The Connection attracted 846 thousand viewers (22%).

The RTL 4 show Domino Challenge attracted 708 thousand viewers (18%), the 1 Percent Quiz attracted 526 thousand viewers (13%). The bronze is for NPO 2: Eens De Zee Went Hier Tekeer scored 538 thousand viewers (14%).

Viewing figures

Programs that also didn’t make the top 15 include NPO 1’s The Mating Game (397 thousand), Nieuwsuur (381 thousand), Laughing at home videos (306 thousand) and Veronica’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (207 thousand). .
