National wrestler Salim Ercan won the bronze medal in the 125 kg freestyle at the 19th Mediterranean Games held in Algeria.
In the organization held in the city of Oran, the national wrestler faced Algerian Mohamed Billal Khelil in the bronze medal match in the freestyle 125 kilos.
Salim Ercan, who defeated his opponent with the 10-0 point button, finished the organization third.
In the men’s 65 kg category, Münir Recep Aktaş lost to Serbian rival Stevan Micic in the bronze medal match and remained off the podium.
