Due to a security error in the federal Chamber, the salary of MR MP Mathieu Michel — former State Secretary for Digitalization and brother of former Prime Minister Charles Michel — ended up in a fraudulent bank account. Scammers succeeded in this via a phishing email that allegedly communicated the MP’s new account number.
