This is how Aatos Koivu, the son of former NHL star Saku Koivu, commented on. He is practicing this week with the Montreal Canadiens.
It is a camp during which potential young people give evidence to the club. There are 31 players, most of whom are Montreal’s own reservations.
The Canadian club booked a birch in the third round last summer’s reservation.

The Canadian team has published a picture on the Communications Service X, which shows that Koivu plays at number 56.
There is also a picture on Instagram where Saku and Aatos Koivu are posing in front of Montreal’s home arena Center Bell.
Father Saku once played a long career in Montreal. He represented the club between 1995 and 2009.
In 1999, he was elected as the first European captain of the club.
So far, the father’s success has not overloaded the young hockey player.

Aatos Koivu has not entrusted with the Canadian club. He made his debut in the SM League in 2023-24. Last season, he made 1+7 = 8 in TPS in 32 regular season matches.
