Ruud de Wild suddenly switches to PowNed: ‘Now also making TV’

Ruud de Wild suddenly makes the switch from KRO-NCRV to the brutal broadcaster PowNed. He also gets the chance to make television there. “His afternoon show on NPO Radio 2 will remain as usual.”

After six years, Ruud de Wild’s collaboration with broadcaster KRO-NCRV comes to an end. “He will fulfill his personal ambition to make a six-part TV series at PowNed next year,” said the broadcaster, which more or less hints that they did not want to or could not fulfill his TV ambitions.

To PowNed

Ruud has made several programs for KRO-NCRV in recent years. In addition to his daily radio program De Wild in de Middag, he also made the podcast 30 Minuten Rauw and last year he could be seen around the elections with the series Framed. He also made the personal documentary Diagnose De Wild about his period of illness.

The presenter says in a short statement: “After working for KRO-NCRV for more than six years, it is now time for me for something new. I would like to thank KRO-NCRV very much for the great cooperation and their trust. From 2023 I will embark on a new adventure at PowNed.”

Stays on the radio

Nothing changes in Ruud’s radio program. De Wild in de Middag can be heard on NPO Radio 2 at KRO-NCRV until the end of this year, after which the show will be in the hands of PowNed.

The broadcaster says: “KRO-NCRV thanks Ruud for his efforts in recent years and wishes him every success at fellow broadcaster PowNed.”
