They were the most talked about showbiz couple in the Netherlands for a while, especially when their reality series was on the air: Olcay Gulsen and Ruud de Wild. The pair was a bit boring and that is why the soap was viewed terribly poorly. They have now been separated for a while and are both in new relationships.
Schoolyard
Olcay says she is someone who likes to maintain contact with her ex-lovers, but in Ruud’s case this is not possible. She states that he has blocked her on WhatsApp, so they can no longer text each other.
How incredibly childish, says Private Boss Evert Santegoeds. Olcay indicates that Ruud and she parted on a good note and, according to him, you would not expect this. “That’s quite a schoolyard, don’t you think?” says the magazine maker in the podcast Strictly Private.
Adolescent
Colleague Jordi Versteegden agrees. He also thinks it’s a bit lame of Ruud. “Yes, I think so too.”
Evert: “Yes, that is a bit adolescent.”
Jordi: “And not to forget: Olcay also got him through that incredibly difficult period during the cancer he had. I thought it was strange.”
A bit weird
It is a bit ungrateful, says Evert. “I also thought it was a bit strange. On the other hand, it somewhat confirms the idea I already had about Ruud de Wild. Long toes, difficult for himself and the people around him, so in that respect it doesn’t surprise me.”
Jordi: “I wonder if he will now also block you on his phone.”
