Ruth Beeckmans looks back on memorable journey with deceased husband: “I will never let go of our love” | BV

Gary, a firefighter with South African roots, died in late April at the age of 54. Ruth coupled with him for about fifteen years. Beeckmans previously shared a tribute on Instagram. She then placed the words ‘you gave me the most beautiful thing’ with a photo of her two daughters Charlie-Sue (9) and Coby Mae (2).

In a new post, the actress looks back on a trip to New York in 2014. Gary accompanied her to the International Emmy Awards. ‘Wat Als?’, the sketch program in which Beeckmans appeared, eventually won a prize. She posed on the Brooklyn Bridge with her husband and ‘What If?’ creator Tim Van Aelst and his partner Sofie. “New York, 2014,” Ruth captioned the snap. “Holding hands on the Brooklyn Bridge. I’ll never let go of our love.”
