Rutger Castricum about grabbing Janine Abbring: ‘I don’t do that’

Rutger Castricum does not think it is wise that schnabbelkont Janine Abbring is so busy lining her pockets at an investment bank. “I personally wouldn’t do it.”

Janine Abbring, the ex-girlfriend and editor-in-chief of Arjen Lubach, is under heavy fire because she took tens of thousands of euros from an investment bank. Critics think it is unwise that she advertises Brand New Day, because she, Arjen and her lover Jeroen Wollaars regularly report about pensions and the banking system.

Support from Johan

The greedy Janine receives support from an unexpected source, namely Johan Derksen. “That girl who did Summer Guests or Winter Guests, she was in a commercial at an investment bank. “Yes, she earned 50,000 euros with that!”, they say,” he says at the table Today Inside.

He continues: “Then she gets everything thrown at her, that she is no longer credible, but the girl decides that herself. It’s not a bad ad at all. Nowadays you get put down for everything.”

‘I would not do it’

Wilfred Genee then turns to table guest Rutger Castricum. “How does that apply to you? You also work with the public. How heavy are you in the chain?”

The NPO presenter initially jokes: “I would do it immediately!”

Then seriously: “No, I don’t think I would do that after all if it affects your work.”

‘Can I get away with it?’

Rutger thinks it conflicts too much with his work. “If it’s about pensions, which is talked about quite a lot in the news, then I don’t think I would do that, personally.”

He concludes: “Look, I mean: if I can make money doing something that doesn’t hurt my work, then I would always do it, but you always look at: does it hurt my work? Can I get away with it?”
