The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejects speculation about the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.

According to a spokesperson, there are clear guidelines for when nuclear weapons are used. “They do not apply to the achievement of the objectives set in the framework of the special military operation in Ukraine.”

The spokesman emphasizes that the use of nuclear weapons is only an issue if the survival of Russia is threatened.
