Russian authorities have blocked access to a well-known independent television channel and a commercial radio station. With this they want to strengthen their grip on the news coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It concerns the television channel Dozhd (Rain) and the radio station Ekho Moskvy (Echo of Moscow). The European Union, on the other hand, bans the Russian propaganda channels RT and Sputnik.
