Rumors about the black room under the stage

Rammstein and “Row Zero” occupy the music and culture scene. Does the best-known German band have their own system for recruiting young women for sexual acts with Till Lindemann? At least that’s what several women who shared their alleged experiences on social media or spoke to journalists claim.

According to the first findings of research by several media, there is a woman named Alena Makeeva who actually specifically addresses certain women before and during the concerts and promises them a place in front of the stage and at the after-show party. What then happens is now part of a discussion in which new details are coming to light almost every day about things that are said to have taken place there.

A research association of “NDR” and “Süddeutsche Zeitung” lets fans have their say who speak of knockout drops, sexual coercion and abuse. The band has already responded and asked to avoid prejudice. At the center of many descriptions is that Lindemann demands oral sex, sometimes for just a few minutes during a break in the gigs, probably from several women at the same time. How voluntarily all this happens, if it happens at all, is completely unclear. So far, there are apparently no ads or investigations against the 60-year-old. He himself does not comment on the allegations.

Now, on Tuesday (June 6th), another eyewitness report was added by a young, anonymous woman who reported of a dark chamber under the stage with black curtains. The woman confirmed to “Zeit” that she was alone with Till Lindemann for “a few minutes” during a concert in Mexico in 2022. The singer complimented her on her style of clothing, there was a brief conversation, including a kiss. Then the singer is said to have gone back on stage.

Did Lindemann show a video of the chamber under the stage?

Whether this supposedly existing chamber was built solely for the purpose of sexual activity is unclear. Likewise, who from the Rammstein crew could – or should – have known something about this chamber, if it exists. In connection with their research, “Zeit” refers to a video that sheds more light on what is happening in the space under the stage. It was therefore publicly shown at the end of some of Till Lindemann’s solo concerts in 2020. Here you can see how two women satisfy Lindemann orally – right in this chamber. It remains unclear whether the obviously pornographic scene was actually recorded below the stage during a Rammstein performance. Whether it is women who were recruited for this is also not proven. They could be professional performers. For years, the singer has been flirting with his penchant for violent porn. As an author for the Kiepenheuer & Witsch publishing house, it was his undoing. After all, he used one of his volumes of poetry in a hardcore sex act clip. In addition, the publisher complained about the violent celebration of sexual violence against women in the video.

Rammstein are now appearing in this mixed situation for four evenings in Munich. Green politicians have already announced that they will do everything possible to establish safe spaces for women at the gigs and to ban row zero. So far, there has been no statement from the band.
