Sophia Schneider, Johanna Puff and Johannes Kühn will not be part of it. While Schneider still laboratories on knee problems, the puff and bold have recently been thrown off two infections and are not yet fit. In addition to the athletes of the DSV, there will also be some well-known international guest starter.
What else are there to consider?
Two things. 1. The DSV has adapted the individual rules for the championships. Instead of the criminal seconds that are common in the summer biathlon in the event of a false shot, penalty rounds must also be run on the Arber. “The background is that we do not want to make the race too shooting,” said DSB biathlon director Felix Bitterling at “chiemgau24.de”.
Point number 2: The championships are particularly important for the athletes that have not yet been set. Cut well and show convincing services, improve your chances of being there at the World Cup start at the end of November in Östersund.
“We count the three races together at the German championship and let them flow into qualifications with 40 percent,” said men’s national coach Tobias Reiter to “chiemgau24.de” on the German selection process.
