Royal HFC climbs to second place thanks to narrow victory over De Treffers

Royal HFC has done good business in the second division. The team of trainer Gertjan Tamerus won 1-0 at home against De Treffers and therefore climbs to second place.

At the Spanjaardslaan, the match between Koninklijke HFC and De Treffers went pretty evenly. Sietse Brandsma gave the Haarlem team the lead just after the break. Vlijter then had the perfect opportunity to equalize the visitors, but his effort went wrong.

In the absolute final phase, a leading role was reserved for Royal HFC goalkeeper Michael Michaelis. The former FC Volendam player played a leading role with a number of great saves.

The win moves Koninklijke HFC to second place in the second division. The Haarlem-squad now has 35 points from 19 games.
