Rotterdam police waited to warn the neighborhood about a possible serial killer to prevent unrest

The whole of Rotterdam held its breath yesterday. After a third shooting in a short time in the same neighborhood, in which another innocent elderly man was shot dead, the police said they “strongly suspect” that one perpetrator is behind all the attacks. A major manhunt for the serial killer ended around 11:15 PM with the arrest of 24-year-old suspect Sendric S. His motives are still unclear.
