About twenty amateur chefs were already busy in the Lage Kouter early this morning. The school is closed and a professionally equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing a four-course meal. This year’s meal consists of pâté with cranberries, meatballs in tomato sauce, a preparation with chicken and a chocolate dessert to finish. The service club received all products sponsored and their members cook and distribute the meals, this year for the 25th time.
Xavier Delodder, Ronde Tafel 24 Kortrijk: “It is a project in which the members of the Ronde Tafel also want to bring something positive to those most in need during this period. They are often single people, somewhat elderly people who are having a hard time. They greatly appreciate what we do.”
