It also bothers Ronald that some people try to whitewash Matthijs’ behavior by describing De Wereld Draait Door as ‘top sport’. “Can we never again use the word ‘top sport’ as an excuse for pressure for people who flip out?”
He continues: “Do you know what top sport is? Someone who works in a hospital and cuts people open. That is f * cking top sport. And the rest should just shut up.”
‘Hop, chop’
Finally: why exactly does Ronald talk about ‘left-wing elite’? “These are all people who are very ready if something happens at John de Mol. Then it’s chopping, chopping, chopping, because that’s where money is made and in general those are the people who display cricketing behavior.”
Cricket behavior? “Crickets are the sound you don’t hear at all.”
