What is your new book already about who is directed?
Lead Share personal experiences and lessons obtained in various organizations. “I wrote it with a simple and friendly vocabulary, so that anyone interested in leadership with emotional intelligence can enjoy it,” explains López Cuenca. “I think it will be especially useful for those who assume new roles of headquarters, direction or supervision, since it offers practical tools for management.”
The book also focuses on the development of self -knowledge, talent and emotional intelligence, key aspects for personal and organizational leadership.
What motivated you to focus on leadership?
“From my work beginnings, I became interested in personality styles at work. Over time, I understood the great impact that leaders have on teams: from motivation and productivity to the retention of talent and mental health of people “, reflects.
López Cuenca states that organizations investing in their leaders stand out in the market. “Organizational success lies in people, especially in leaders.”
How do you apply the concept of personal leadership in your book?
“The clinical experience led me to value leadership skills applied to personal life,” he explains. These include a clear vision, conviction, perseverance and emotional intelligence. “A person who develops these skills becomes the leader of his own life, capable of directing his actions and achieving his goals.”
According to the psychologist, emotional intelligence is fundamental. “It allows us to manage resources and keep the head cold in the face of emotions such as fear or sadness. Integrating and thinking is key to a full and successful life.”
What are your leadership conferences?
“My books are born after the conferences. They are spaces for a lot of learning and connection with the public. We share tools for effective communication, equipment management and the management of performance situations,” he explains.
López Cuenca also uses the famous Myers & Briggs test combined with colors. “Self -knowledge is essential for the development of personal leadership and communication success in teams. People take a great learning of these sessions.”
