Zehra Güneş, the successful national volleyball player who closed the season with Vakıfbank with five cups out of five and won the Most Valuable Player of the Sultans League and the best middle player of the Champions League, received the Stylish Athlete of the Year award at the Elle Stylish Awards ceremony. Zehra Güneş, accompanied by her lover Eren Dişli, had emotional moments by thanking her mother in her award speech.

“I have had very difficult and stressful matches in different tournaments in different parts of the world. But this crowd, this environment is really different. Thank you all for experiencing this excitement and honor for me. Being here tonight is beyond my dreams. Because I am still a little girl. My story, which started at the age of 12, has been embraced by many people and is now appreciated in many areas of life.No matter how much it seems like mine, I’m proud to say it here, a very good tailor, a very good mother, standing on my feet and volleyball like me. “This is the story of my mother, who motivated my sisters to the fullest power. I am receiving this award for all mothers and their daughters.”
