SKA Pietari has quashed rumors of its head coach Roman Rotenberg being kicked out of the club.
The news was reported by a Russian Allhockey site.
– Will Rotenberg leave as head coach? That is not true, SKA chairman Aleksandr Medvedev commented.
St. Petersburg’s ökyseura is only seventh in the Western Conference of the KHL. The team is on a losing streak of three matches.
Among other things, former NHL player Nikita Filatov shared “insider information” on Telegram, according to which Rotenberg had been threatened with being fired at the beginning of January.
