Roger Federer made the leap into a new league. The economic magazine “Forbes” now estimates the Swiss’s assets at $ 1.1 billion. The 44-year-old, who ended his tennis career in 2022, is the second player in his sport who reaches this brand-after the long-time tennis manager Ion țiriac, who once also advised Boris Becker.

Federer’s sporting successes are impressive: he won 103 tournaments, including 20 Grand Slam titles for 24 years, and led the world rankings for a total of 310 weeks. With over $ 130 million in prize money, he is in the eternal ranking behind Novak Djoković and Rafael Nadal.

His success was also great away from the course. Over a period of 16 years, Federer was the best earning player in his sport. In 2020, he even led the global ranking of all athletes with an annual income of $ 106.3 million.
