At the beginning of June, Stewart announced that he would cancel his concerts at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace due to the flu he had. Less than a week later, he also canceled four concerts of his One Last Time tour and rescheduled his two other appearances in Nevada and California.

Stewart’s decision to cancel his gig in California due to health reasons drew criticism, as he appeared just hours later for the Scottish football team’s World Cup match in Boston.

Stewart’s team published a statement on his Instagram stories, according to which the singer was unable to perform that night due to doctors’ recommendations and an acute upper respiratory tract infection and laryngitis, even though he had already traveled to the concert venue.

– After the treatment, I feel much better, but my voice does not. I am very disappointed and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to my fans. I did everything I could so that the concert could have been organized tonight, Stewart added to the announcement.
