“It has been rather quiet in the Festival Park over the past two summers,” said organizer Herman Schueremans. “The hunger to fully experience festivals again is great. For example, both Rock Werchter and Werchter Boutique are sold out. That’s sooner than ever. The urge to bang is real. Both with the fans and with the artists. And also with us. We want more. That is why we are presenting this one-time extra day festival to celebrate the return of the festivals. A number of top artists, including the always great Florence + the Machine, have already been booked.”
