Normally, on Sunday 26 June, the one-day festival Rock Werchter Encore would be organized for the first time. But the organization calculated that they would only land at 25,000 festival-goers. The TW Classic festival, which will take place on Saturday 25 June, will be expanded. Acts will not only be on the main stage, but also in ‘The Barn’ and ‘KluB C’. Moreover, the Rock Werchter Encore line-up largely moves to the day before. “We are creative, positive entrepreneurs. We have shown that before,” says organizer Herman Schueremans. “We are very happy that we can bring Florence + the Machine, who just released a great album with ‘Dance Fever’, and a large part of the artists who would be on Rock Wechter Encore to the Festival Park. TW Classic is selling very well. However, partly due to the addition of the 2 tents, there is still sufficient ticket capacity to combine both day festivals. It will be a beautiful festival day. †
