The chaos in Carrarese-Catanzaro after a penalty made to the Calabrians repeat which earned the final 3-3: in the end the referee of A and B managed to go down to the changing rooms (without receiving any blows) to speak to the referee Dionisi and, subsequently, to calmly take the car and head towards Florence
Moments of strong apprehension for Gianluca Rocchi present in the afternoon in the stands of Carrara to watch Carrarese-Catanzaro with the aim of seeing the referee Federico Dionisi. For the designator of Can A and B, a Carabinieri escort was necessary given the climate of tension that arose at the end of the race. Everything happened in the final stages of the match which ended 3-3: the repetition of a penalty kick in favor of the Calabrians (through a rather long but correct VAR review) sent the fans present in the stands into a rage. Dionisi made a double right decision but the second angered the home fans: when Catanzaro scored the penalty to make it 3-3, chaos erupted.

Screams, shouts, insults, high arms (and, it is said, even waving banknotes), but Rocchi then managed to go down to the changing rooms (without receiving blows) to talk to Dionisi and, subsequently, to calmly take the car and head towards Florence. It is not the first time this has happened, evidence of a tense climate.
